Where do you disagree so far?

Please explain how oil can be infinite?
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.

Logical fallacy. If one is true then two is true...

Well, if you want to leave then this was just a peek at the peak so to speak... 8) But you'll be back when it climbs even higher. The idea is in the back of your mind now, you just need to see the proof apparently rather than extrapolate from production and historical facts...

It regenerates...natural product. It's not my theory, I can't explain it off the top of my head...just know some think that may be happening.

If oil cannot be regenerative in nature, how could we ever think agriculture could be sustainable? Not the same, but close.

Gotta go folks. Wifey is giving me the evil eye...she's already hard at work doing OUR part to save the planet...canning peaches!!!!! Yummm!!

Don't let the less restrained among us scare you off.

We host a pretty diverse set of folks around here, (as you have no doubt deduced).

You probably need to posit some more specific arguments to get any traction around here though.

Well, Einstein, that shows how little you know about things. Look under your feet, what do you see? Dirt, soil, earth, fill...depends on what you want to do with it. But that spot under your feet may be worthless or valuable depending on who needs it, where it is needed, how much of that type is available, etc.

Today's oil price is a reflection of speculation to some degree and other factors as well. Remember, Jed Clampett's oil was worthless to him and he was hoping the Gummint man was there to drain the swamp of it.

Ah. Sounds like an abiotic oil believer. That one was beat to death years ago oildummy. It is a theory that was proposed in the early days of oil, long before geologists had any understanding of the nature and source of oil. No petro-geologist worth his salt today gives it any credence whatsoever.

Welcome to the forum btw. And just as an fyi, this place, unlike most internet forums, is populated largely by articulate, intelligent, well informed people who have done extensive homework on all facets of this phenomenon. Even our wonderfully ascerbic Roccman up there; he just has little patience for uninformed opinion and makes no bones about calling it out when he sees it.

My comparative newness and lack of indoctrination was SUPPOSED to be conveyed by my handle. Why in the world would anyone choose a name like that if there was any amount of pretense brought along with it.

I think the hunters saw a "fresh-meat" target and took aim at the sight of first fallibility.
