Food tastes better!

Unread postby Quinny » Sun 10 Aug 2008, 14:40:25

Now I know I'm losing it!
Food tastes better since realising the state we're in. Even bland food like rice, I savour every mouthful.

I also enjoy conversation more and feel I've become a better person and less materialistic. I'm especially enjoying my time with children and spouse more.

Peak Oil had similar positive on anyone else?....or have I totally flipped?

When I can be around other people, which is not often, things are better.
Massive Human Dieoff must occur as a result of Peak Oil. Many more than half will die. It will occur everywhere, including where you live. If you fail to recognize this, then your odds of living move toward the "going to die" group.

I agree with you 100% Quinny, most especially with healthy, basic foods and family members.

WTF are you talking about? Please god tell me you don't have one if you're calling it a "peace pipe".

I didn't mean space cakes.

Tonight it's butter pie and roasted vegetables - no meat. Wouldn't have enjoyed it a couple of months ago.

Hey! Anyone can cook! Watch the movie Ratatouille!
Being peak oil aware, watching it has been an epiphany for me. The rats will take over, will survive long after we are gone :>

Live on! video

(..the quality is a little dark to see too well but you get the gist..). I nominate this the movie of the year! And I love cooking! And I've only just realized how important good cooking will be post-peak.

As long as there are rats, people will have dinner. I'd say the same for roaches, but ive never been that hungry.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'S')ensitive people can have some very weird experiences with it as it alters the astral body. This is all very well for people who can handle this sort of thing but the down side is it can put holes in the aura which in turn allows other peoples not so nice energy to get to you and nasty things to attach themselves to you, bad thought forms etc so you gotta be kind of strong to handle all this.It also isnt the best for immune levels if taken in excess. But "everything in moderation" as the Buddhists say. And it IS a natural substance along with just about everything else we overindulge in at times.

The remedy is tobacco. Not cigs, real tobacco. Tobacco, sage and sweet grass are good for clearing negative energy. So,,,,,,,,,I happen to smoke a pipe, yes two of them...........

There was a restaurant here in Brisbane called Rat Thai. I don't think it lasted long. But when I read a reference to people eating rats, I think of rat ona stick sold be C.M.O.T. Dibler of Ank-Morpork.
Kind regards, Katkinkate

but like I said .. you can't milk roaches and rats must give an impossibly low yield!

When I said food tastes better - I just meant ordinary stuff!
