The Magical Mystery Tour

Unread postby AlexdeLarge » Sat 19 Jul 2008, 12:53:40

The Messiah is off on his world tour with his biggest fans! (other than himself!) LOL
"Americans are beginning to notice Obama's elevated opinion of himself. There's nothing new about narcissism in politics. Every senator looks in the mirror and sees a president. Nonetheless, has there ever been a presidential nominee with a wider gap between his estimation of himself and the sum total of his lifetime achievements?"

"Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up AND THAT'S AN INVITATION, roll up for the mystery tour.
Roll up TO MAKE A RESERVATION, roll up for the mystery tour.
The magical mystery tour is waiting to take you away,
Waiting to take you away."

The link doesn't work for me. But I hear 3rd graders are telling this joke:
Hillary and Obama are campaigning in a boat. The boat sinks. Who is saved?

Don't you know that Barak is the reincarnation of both Honest Abe Lincoln and Martin Luther King? I've heard that the Rastafarians are dumping Haile Selassie & electing Barak as their new Iron Lion. Careful what you say about the Messiah...

LoL Any criticism of or poking fun at Barak is racism, just as any criticism of Israel's mistreatment of the Palestinians is antisemitism! I LOVE it !!

yo dog, you know it. My favorite Obama story is about a homeowner who had two foot high individual letters on his lawn spelling out OBAMA 08. Some prankster snuck in and cut up the B and rearranged the pieces into a little S. The homeowner bought a new B and the prankster did it again. True story. So what is the difference between Obama and Osama? BS. Personally, I rather have Dennis Haysbert for President. HAYSBERT 08!

The Cult of Obama gives me the willies.

I wonder how many of these glossy eyed zealots could name any of his accomplishments, or who is funding his campaign?

They certainly couldn't name his position on policy issues because it's a moving target that changes by the day.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'S')o stfu and start treating a serious candidate to the Presidency of your country with a little respect.

Obama isn't a candidate. He's a Madison Avenue marketing campaign by the same people who brought you the latest release of Batman.

This guy didn't rise from some backwater neighborhood in Chicago to fill stadiums on his own accord. No one knew who TF he was not too long ago, and most people still don't know anything he's ever done. He was selected and then shoved down everyone's throat by a full media blitzkrieg of books and TeeVee interviews, magazine articles, et cetera.

Most of the people that support him are the same type of suckers that will wait in line all night for a new iphone, or get on a waiting list for a toyota hybrid. They're very susceptible to groupthink and manias. The marketer's know this and that's who they're after.

You're smarter than that pstarr. We all know Bush is just a front for the oil industry and military contractors. That means we should be just as suspicious or more so of whoever they present to us next. So put down the kool-aid and STFU :)

When do we get a similar thread on JM? Oh, I see. . . .

Notice how Obama supporters try to defend his candidacy. Support must be absolute, dissension will not be tolerated. Opponents are first labeled as racist. If that does not work, bring up the war and Bush. Note the use of colorful language.
A little scary isn't it? Support without reason...... A hope for change, that is not defined. Be afraid...be very afraid..............
I guess this thread is on the way to the HOF! LOL

"It's shameful. The idiots, leftwing loons, who think they are demeaning the President, only make themselves look like fools.

The Office of the President of the United States demands respect in its own right. Regardless of who is President or what you "personally" feel about the man/woman who holds the office at any given time."

No worries. It simply seemed to me, as one conservative to another, that between the flip-flop you may need to make in January if B. O. is elected might require a supreme effort on your part.

Actually, I do worry about anybody who gets to wound up about one major U.S. political party or candidate being so much better or worse than another. Watch that kool-aid consumption.

Maybe we should cast about now for some industrial compound to name after B.O. so that we don't dishonor the office any further.

How about that biomass plant planned for eastern NC that is going to turn turkey guts into electricity? How is that for change?

Let's get rid of that stupid Amendment about Presidential term limits and reelect George W.! Sure he presided over a mushrooming Federal budget and spearheaded that screwy No Child Left Behind education bill that put the final nail in the coffin of American education and passed the Seniors medicine giveaway that will bankrupt the country and he's a beady-eyed cretin who can't pronounce "nuclear". But dammit, he knows how to deal with terrorists.
