Hahaha. Nice one!

I find it mildly humorous to watch Congress (9% approval rating) call Bush (29% approval rating) a complete failure.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black...

The truth is that both of them are complete failures. That's why I'm voting against every single incumbent this year. It's time to throw the bums out.

Great. If everyone would do that every time, we might have a chance to change things without a revolution.

How about Sen. Obama?

He had the most liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'H')ouse Speaker Nancy Pelosi Thursday blamed the "two oil men in the White House," President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, and their Republican allies in Congress for gas prices exceeding $4 a gallon.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she does not plan to permit a vote to lift a ban on offshore oil drilling.

Pelosi, a California Democrat, said multiple initiatives intended to lower high energy costs have passed the Democratically controlled House only to "run into a brick wall" in the Senate because they did not receive the 60 votes needed to overcome Republican filibusters.

Yeah, it's only a political issue.

Pelosi has to say this, The best defense is still a good offense. The biggest tear in oil and gas prices have come since she has run the House. Makes little sense to require oil companies to drill more in the leases they already have, no market sense. If they though there was profitable oil to drill there they would already be drilling. Not saying she is the cause of the oil prices, just saying she's an idiot.

Nancy Pelosi, Bush and Cheney resposible for high oil prices

Unread postby HKFarmboy » Mon 21 Jul 2008, 04:44:02

i am really tired of both parties running around pointing fingers trying to find "who is to blame" for high oil prices.

The US burns 20%+ of the world's oil and has for decades. during republican and democratic administrations alike.

I was looking for some leadership on this issue at the federal level and haven't seen it yet.

Pelosi is just as big an idiot as McSame and O'Bama and Billary for that matter.

IMHO, we, meaning our country as a whole, are in real trouble. No matter what the result of the presidential and congressional elections this fall, we may not see any real leadership.

Pelosi: NG is not a fossil fuel...

Pelosi on Natural Gas: Fossil Fuel or Not?
John D. McKinnon reports on Nancy Pelosi’s statements on energy.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s message on energy, already evolving in recent weeks, might have to evolve a little more.

On NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, the speaker twice seemed to suggest that natural gas – an energy source she favors – is not a fossil fuel.

“I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels,” she said at one point. Natural gas “is cheap, abundant and clean compared to fossil fuels,” she said at another.

Perhaps she slept through fossil fuel class...
