$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jbrovont', 'F')or the record, I'd like to point out the misuse of the word "leader" here.

The people we're talking about are either far behind the curve, or using their knowledge and positional power to profiteer.
Henceforth, I submit they be christened and called by a more appropriate title: quislings. If needs be, "judas" can serve as derogatory slang for them, and of course the most straight-forward label is still useful: traitor.
Too true and +100 bonus points (in my book) for the use of the word quislings.
I have to say, between Bush talking about how "if we drilled in ANWR and offshore years ago" that we "wouldn't be where we are today"...and so much blaming democrats or lack of will on the part of voters or whatever the hell the statement was meant to imply...AND the talking heads on CNBC touting the "plummet" of oil prices and the "rally" of the financials....
I feel ill, irritated, and somewhat speechless.
I just want to go grab a bullhorn and run around screaming "WAKE UP PEOPLE!"
Of course, that'd probably just land me in the local nut house. Still, if I turn on the news one time too often the urge is almost irrepressible.
