Big Tex, You sure feeling lousy sometimes isn't perfectly natural? The American preoccupation with being upbeat most of the time, can actually be oppressive. What is the blow back going to be like when 300 million people trained to be happy and think positive all the time, let it go? You're going to have to scrape them off the pavement, unless they understand there is some value, some dignity and worth to feeling righteously rotten.

When people are sad, they shouldn't be admonished for choosing it, they should be told or shown something uplifting. Love bomb them! [smilie=kiss.gif]

(The exception, is, of course people who do seem to have a love affair with morbid thoughts and revel in their depression. Some of these types seem to actually choose to be sullen)

I agree with you TB. I just wanted to remind anyone who is interested that HOWEVER you may feel is your own responsibility. If people want to feel crappy, then I want them to feel as crappy as they like.

You can interpret the world in any way you like. Fully internalizing that truth is a big part of having real freedom.

You see challenges and you prepare for them as best you can. When you have done what you can, rest, relax and be content.

Control the things you can control. Let the rest go. Feeling crappy is the result of not letting go of those things you can't control.

Man, I thought it was only white people who couldn't dance. It's the whole world! Actually the Indian girls in full garb were the best, very spiritual.

Anyway, alright already, I'm happy, I really am, at least I think therefore I am... Happy? I've noticed in my life that I am punished when I am carefree and happy. I am rewarded when I am paranoid and careful. I'm not one of those lucky kind of people. Actually, I think there is a very strong connection between beauty and overall happiness. Beautiful people get treated better by everyone, including me (assuming they are female.) That produces a carefree attitude among beautiful people. They know they can count on the kindness of strangers because they are beautiful. They always think that the solution to all the worlds problems is for all of us to just get along and help each other - because it's always worked for them. In the meantime, there's the rest of us not so beautiful people who are constantly at each others throats, competing for the beautiful people.

I'm just another drone, Morlock (see picture), whatever, living underground making things nice for the beautiful people.
