Nice pictures Alex.

The sprawling parking desert lots now used for retired planes will need to be expanded significantly as the major airlines place more and more planes out of service. At some point they'll run out of parking spaces, I bet.

I've dug that lost america site for quite awhile, can spend hours there.

Don't like the reality of the people standing in gas lines. Big dichotomy between the two sets of imagery.

I actually bought stuff at that gas station when it was open.

As to a Premise? No premise, just an interesting link to some good photos that referenced peak oil. The Lost in America site has several picture threads I thought the group may enjoy.
