I respectfully disagree.

Our VH1 reality TV technolgy can guarantee us more of this oily sludge beyond 2013. Consider EROEI of Ms.Cyrus getting drunk at a bar 10 years from now. It could power the E! network for several days. If we went by what the "experts" predicted, America's Bonaduche or Osmond reserves would have run out of gas 30 years ago.

What the mainstream media won't tell you is that, for instance, the Brady entertainment value peaked decades ago. Putting Peter on with the next top model girl is certainly a novel use of the remaining value, but you must admit that is hardly the gusher of entertainment value put forth by even one of the Brady actors in the era of cheap TV. And there were 6 on that show alone (8 if you count the two parent units).

As such TV ppl have had to invent multimedia, and mine their stars younger and faster than ever. Which of course depletes them even quicker. The chicken littles of Cyrus depletion are certainly dramatic, but that doesn't mean they are wrong.
