Ooooohhhh, now that is bad! Welcome btw. You find this is a good place. No worries regarding all those boob tubes, they will make fine targets out about 200 yards when you are sighting in your new AR-15.

(just kidding) :-D

My worst sins, IMO, are what I put in the garbage some times.

Do you know how many things your NOT supposed to put in the garbage "these days" ? Like batteries, "dead animals" like mice up to elephants I guess (why are animal based food scraps OK but a dead mouse or two isn't).

I don't even wanna say what else. So many of us IMO throw out in regular trash CFLs, tires, nasty chemicals, and all manner of things they legally or morally shouldn't. Regular trash is just so convenient and most locales don't inspect your garbage for violations; but some do.

On the plus side, I'll claim this is my worst sin. :) Just an occasional battery, and probably some other stuff that's probably at least better than "medical waste" or "toxic waste"... :

Confession is good for the soul Roc, V-M and Dr. B. - if you can't do it here then where?

I ain't asking about the coordinates of your TP stash; just what you do with the portion of your paycheck not going to such things.

At least canis and eb are honest enough to admit their addiction to oil.

Come on everybody, what is your secret?

Addiction to MOTOCROSS, Pops. If'n there wasn't any oil, I'd take the chain off my bike and find the biggest mountain here in...Illinois..., find some farmer to pull me up it and push me over.

OIL is feathers in the wind but MOTOCROSS is LIFE!

While I do ride the bike just about everywhere, I manage to drive to work once a week and the guilt sets in just after I drive by my first cyclist.

I buy a lot of music...cd's and records....oil makes this possible!

and now for some personal stuff..........

I've been sober for 2 years, but I tasted the bubbles from my wife's glass of champagne 2 weeks ago.

One of my best friends is in a band who is opening for Stone Temple Pilots for 7 dates and I am really jealous of him!!!!!!!!! OK..he deserves it!

That's it for today!

He should convert one of these to electric. Old MG's and Datsuns are both popular conversion vehicles. Of course, don't know if you live close enough to anywhere you'd want to go for an EV to make sense...

Yeah, he's actually been looking into converting the pickup to an EV, but, it might not work out because we live a long way from the nearest town with a store. So he may end up building a smaller, lighter EV.

This year's secret...
My garden is a disaster

Between delivering baby goats (who arrived right at the peak of the time I needed to be in the garden), sick goats (that I've dealt with since winter for one thing or another), kids (who we didn't have last year at garden planting time and I haven't yet figured out how to manage children with everything else I need to do)... yadda, yadda, yadda.... the garden has gotten close to zero attention this year. Our tiller was also gone for a month.

Yesterday we got it back. I told Carlin we'll give it one more shot to try to get it weeded, and if that doesn't work, I'm taking a flame thrower to it, tilling it all up, and planting a fall garden.

I walk 3-4 miles a day to stay in shape for year round backpacking.

My secret is during the hot Texas summer evenings I walk those miles at the local mall.

BTW-Ludi and CD, the cows got into our garden and our harvest was a bust as well.
If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

I don't talk about it much here but I work on my '69 Ford, short-bed 4wd pickup with the 390 big block, four bbl carb and dual exhaust for enjoyment when I get the chance.

You work ON a Ford - bless you!!!! I work FOR Ford (but perhaps not for long with 15% white collar cuts imminent).

Which of us had the darker secret?

Of course he works on a Ford. One is always WORKING on a Ford!
I couldn't resist

Welcome Doc! I'm thinking you are the winner!

And Header, the reason I don't need to Fix Or Repair it Daily , is that I only start it once a week just to sniff the tailpipe - the smell reminds me of California.

I love those 200 mile afternoon rides in the country with a lunch stop half way on the big two wheeled cruiser. She weighs over 800 lb dry. Peak Motorcycle, eh.
