$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I') have studied lot's of data over the last couple years and have been hanging my hat over at Peak Oil.com. The truth of the matter is, demand is out stripping supply and once the world reaches peak production (2006?) we may hold onto a plateau for a few years. Then starts the fast decline in production that will last forever. Figure by 2020 the USA will HAVE to operate with oil resources we used during the 1930’s. Anyone who thinks the market is just being manipulated and we have enough oil to continue business as usual is going to have one heck of a rude awakening very soon. That's life, so deal with it. The blaming and denial will not solve anything.
you should get out more and stay away from scaremongers there is plenty of oil the only reason why were at peak production is the environmentalist protest and stop drilling and tie it up with litigation there is trillions of trillions of gallons of oil in the earth it's just not enough drilling if you watched the oil company's when they were at congress you would see it is the not drilling and refining that is the problem.
dam environmentalist
we have now enough oil to last till we come up with a viable alternative and with the price of oil were it is, it makes it worth seeking.
there are many Ideas out there that some people think there is a conspiracy to keep them off the market but they are just prototypes.
and many of them say they can be on the market in the next ten years last time (in the 70's) we got wind and solar which is good but still very expensive most units will last just long enough for you to recoup your cost and then its time to by a new unit so it is still not cheaper then oil but recently they have made some big breakthrough do to high oil making it profitable to take a second look at these technology's
so peak oil or not we have plenty of oil with the new technology
