The Post-Petroleum Survival Guide and Cookbook (Bates)

I recommend it highly. Albert Bates is a co-founder of the Ecovillage Network. Although he is way too positive about alternatives, IMO, he offers many practical solutions about how to downsize, complete with specific diagrams, links, lists, and quotes.
Because it's all about the oil.

Cool. Thanks. I was JUST thinking of buying this book earlier today, but being very cheap and reluctant to spend money on anything, I didn't. Now I'll prob. go back and get it. Thanks! Have a good day!

This would be a good 2nd book on Peak Oil. It's not a great intro or overview on the topic, but it's a great little primer on the many small (and some large) things you can do to live with a smaller footprint. I really enjoyed it.

His recipes are pretty good, too!
