I have, out in my planting shed, an approved gas can with five gallons of Costco gas purchased at $3.95 a gallon a few days ago where gas is now selling at $4.25. I am officially ready for making huge profit and salivating greatly. I will find a Nigerian to help me market the gas soon. Or maybe Nigerians here will help me??

Just as a reminder to everyone, gas fumes are heavier than air... be careful storing them anywhere that fumes could settle in a depressed area.

For example, dont store them in a pit or window well

I have a kerosene heater and lamps. I have 25 gallons stored in approved container in the basement (which voids fire insurance) but my question is this: Does kerosene pose a great risk considering its high ignition temp and low off gas? It is right next to the fuel oil tank that contains essentially the same fuel.

I have been considering getting an actual tank to put it in so my insurance won't be invalidated.
