Arg! While mantling into a HVAC chase I slid back and broke my xyphoid process upwards which then edged back under my sternum. Man is that one uncomfortable feeling! A deep gasp and it slides back into place with the same sickening crunch. Doesn't hurt too much except when I cough and it shifts out of place again. -grind- -crunch- -pop- Thats one alarming feeling! Oh and I can't bend over. Or lift heavy things. Dang it! I have preps to do I have no time for this crap! I am awaiting the results of the CT scan and they did enough chest X-Rays to leave me medium rare.... I suspect its going to be a slow heal though. Arg!
