The site owner is Dan, handle "admin". He saw PO coming, registered the site, and has maintained the community po portal vision all the way through. We are all happy for Dan's vision and continued commitment. Dan doesn't post much but he's back there paying the bills and keeping the ship afloat

The site was developed in conjunction with Aaron, handle "aaron" our favorite 800 lb. gorilla. Aaron is a do-all kind of guy, and continues to keep the code pasted together and bandwidth nice and wide.

Monte, handle "MonteQuest" is our PO prophet extraordinaire, and spent countless hours at the beginning setting up forums and producing massive amounts of great content and defending same through countless hours of early debate when we were just a few that were paying attention to the math and the opposing arguments still had some credibility.

Monte administered the forums for a couple years before handing it off to Shannon, AKA shannymara, who now carries the tag "semi-retired admin" because we won't let her off the hook completely.

I'm the latest forum admin. My name is Mike Donovan, thus my handle "MD" I wear the tag "community manager" which essentially means I'm the town sheriff, so keep your noses clean, pilgrims!

Then we have the moderating team, which is a list of about twenty folks that have agreed to volunteer their time to help keep us marching forward in a semi-orderly fashion.

I do miss Monte. He didn't take any prisoners, he told it like it was and replied to almost all posts, explaining everything in plain English. I think we owe him all a debt of gratitude. Aaron hasn't had it easy either, having to run a site on a shoe string and Dan, having to pay for a money losing site out of his own pocket. Too bad he can't charge for the thousands of recent links from news agencies!
