Looking at all the member photos, it occurs to me, that a great majority of site members are male. (perhaps all?) So I'm curious - what percentage of members are female vs. male.

Lifer, I see you haven't posted a lot -- but maybe you have been around, lurking. Maybe the threads you have been on haven't had many female participants.

Can't go by the member photos posted ... there aren't that many posted anyway.

I would guess Tex is close to right -- around 90-95% of the actively posting members are male. But we females, albeit clearly in the minority, can be quite vocal here.

Thank you, Tex, for expressing your appreciation for us. Not everyone here feels that way, though!

Obvously I'm female...I'm a mom of 2!
My husband is coming on board with these ideas. But for now, and in the future around my house, I am "The Queen of Doom"...my older daughter was even going to make me a special crown to wear for the day...complete with drawings of tornados, empty gas staions, empty wells, etc...she didn't however! But they all like the garden, the full pantry (overstocked, probably), the new fireplace insert, the smell of sheets dried outdoors, etc...which I likely never would have considered before learning about PO.
