I realise that we are getting a bit thin on thread topics, but this one maybe throw out some interesting thoughts. Since visiting this site , certain posters influence me more than others. This maybe because of the structure of their posts, the links contained in their posts or even their persuasive style.

I was wondering therefore who are your top 5 Peak oil , influential heavyweights? Who has the most credibility with their posts and content. Who's post do you make a point of reading becuase they will most likely contain the most substance?

Just to get you started here are mine in no order:
1. Devil(moderate)
2. Monte Quest(doomer)
3. Trespam(Moderate)
4. Nevada Ghost(Optimist -- just kidding -- Doomer)
5. Aaron( the ultimate doomster- we are all fecking dead! 8O )

And just for a bit of fun, put in brackets how you rank the posters view on the outcome of PO (ie optimist - no effects, moderate -- significant effects but we will live, Doomer -- its all over for the human race )

Hope this all makes sense. Thought it might be a bit of fun :)

gg3 - communitarian with insight into efficiency and an interesting political perspective

JohnDenver - the thinking peaker's contrarian. Although I often disagree with him, I find his posts intellectually challenging.

FatherOfTwo - thoughtful, moderate, and articulate.

bart - also thoughtful, reasonable, and articulate.

Frankly, I can't say who is "more influential" to me. This forum is so full of smart minds and wonderful people I really find all of you veeery interesting. But anyway, here is my random list of favourite posters:
