Well, I do like variety so that bodes well if my partner also like variety. But I think I lean toward the 'giving' so if my partner also liked 'giving' that wouldn't work as well.

I think you're thinking of this identical person as slightly different, Mercury. That is, as external to you.

I guess it's hard to convey exactly what I mean by identical. I mean literally another you in every respect.

The situation I'm discussing would be literally impossible. So this is entirely a thought game.
