I tried it and let it go. It’s cute and it transferred all my bookmarks etc. without a problem but only in one area has it surpassed FF – the initial boot up. For some reason FF is always slow when first accessed, though since it’s only a matter of seconds, it’s no big deal. I’m running XP on an Acer laptop with dual core 1.66Gh processor and 2Gb RAM. I don’t like the presentation, the fonts and an aggressive Apple presence lurking just beneath the surface. I still have it as a backup though since I took the trouble to install it. FF works just fine, page refreshes are slick. Any speed problems are invariably to be found with the target website and/or the web traffic or ISP related issues.
