I feel bad about the suffering of any living thing, human or otherwise. This does not mean I am unwilling to kill for food. That is a simple fact of nature. Ultimately, it boils down to eat or be eaten, as we ourselves are animals too. I just would prefer that my food suffered less before I eat it.

Do you actively do anything to support those who practice that type of production?
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.

Every time I buy meat from "Mc Donalds" Etc. I run the risk of supporting activity I disapprove of. Will I stop eating meat or buy locally? Time will tell. ( I have not had meat since I saw that nasty video btw)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jasonraymondson', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Ludi', 'm')idnight gamer, you might feel better if you become a vegetarian, or if you buy from a producer you know.

The more I learned about industrial animal production, the more vegetarian I became. I still eat industrial animal products, but much less than I used to a few years ago. I'm certainly not a purist, and recognise that I am a hypocrite to some degree (as are most people in one way or another).

That is the one luxury I have always had. I have never been one.

You mean eating spinach makes you want to beat the living shit out of someone?

Vegetables... who needs 'em? That's my philosophy.

It's funny how vegetarians always brag about how healthy their life styles is, yet they always look gaunt and sickly. They look even more unhealthy the the fatties walking around.
