Thats just a reporting issue. It dropped to zero so basically 321 didn't get the data for that time period.

It was cool watching oil go below a buck a gallon. Who here enjoyed the sweet irony of the situation? C'mon, let's see some hands!

Super spike immenent, get ready for rationing if the prices are not allowed to rice at the pump. We should be somehwere in the $4.25 range for a national average by Memorial Day.

It is always weird to watch these things unfold, especially after talking about this very scenario for years.

Food riots, oil spikes, financial collapse and then as we know war.

I work in an Fortune 500 energy company

When I told people that oil is $117, here are the answers I got;

- who gives a *hit

-I can't care less

-I am gonna bang my girl tonight

-Is it gonna effect my paycheck? No. So what the *uck I care

-Don't you have anythingelse to do?

-What can I do about it? Nothing, so?

I can't believe I am working with morons.

Those are exactly the people who should fear peak oil most. How ironic that preaching peak oil is not too dissimilar in their eyes to you being an evangelist.

Don't worry brother they are all plugged into the Matrix in one way or another. The power source is failing, a crude awaking is on the doorstep. Watch out for the cannibals.

I feel weird too. It is like being among the crew of the film "das Boot" when their submarine was bombed at Gibraltar and going down. The chief engineer has to report to the captain that the boat is sinking and that he can't do anything more about it. All they can do is to watch the depth gauge climb and to listen for the creaking of metal and the bolts breaking.

We talked about this for years now yet i must rub my eyes and still can't believe that the world is actually entering an new, possibly cruel era.
The mouse, i`ve been sure for years, limps home from the site of the burning ferris wheel with a brand new, airtight plan for killing the cat.

Gandalf, everyone who drives a diesel is paying $4.20 already, including truck drivers. Methinks I'd have to be $5 + before we see rioting in the streets of the US of A.

It's like the frog-in-a-pot-of-water thing...prices will continue to rise at this slow rate and we won't realize we're cooked until it's over.

Methinks.
