I would like to learn about any new method/technology to remove (recover) heavy crude oil from water.
if we can do such recovery early stage before pipeline then a more free space for free crude oil can be transported via pipeline

Already doing it. When it comes up out of the ground it passes through a seperater vessel. then goes into the pipeline. Pipelines charge for how much product is moved in the pipeline. (being very general)You wouldn't want to pay to ship 500 barrels of water through the system would you? Of course mistakes do happen.
Nothing is more dangerous than a man with nothing left to lose but has everything left to gain.
