heh heh, leave it you to mention that. Here's a philosophical puzzler: eternal sublime knowledge versus a lot of mortal sublime orgasms. Closeness to God versus a really prime steak. etc. :-D

Not to turn it upside down, but orgasms may be used to know sublime realities... and sexual relationships ("from start to finish, and again") in general, but it is such an specific and rare kind of sexual relationship... that it's better not to give this advice. for more information see: Kundalini Awakening, meditation on the chakras, Tantric Sex

I always wonder why people say "just."

I think thoughts and emotions are a pretty darn amazing result of biochemical reactions!

You're absolutely right, Ludi. I was thinking the same thing regarding love and romance. On another thread, somebody was talking about how love is a lie and men and women just use eachother for the survival of their own genes.

But how wonderful it is that this drive to replicate our genes could result in something so beautiful and profound. The same could be said of all of our emotional experiences. (I fell in love recently. Can you tell? )

His posts have been quite interesting, and he was kind enough to clarify something for me. He's alright in my book, unless he turns out to be a raving asshole like so many other people on this site (including me, occasionally ).

Oh don't worry... few people gets banned from peakoil.com, and if they want to come back with another username it's possible. Basically being banned from this website is "just some shame".

But golem is too leftish brained. coberst may take the rightish brained spot. Now, we also have a village idiot... hmm, what other "special characters" may come before TFSHTF and all this forums go poof, disapear, die, go to /dev/null, fade to oblivion?
