$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('FreakOil', 'T')he man's picture is all over the Internet now. He's married with three
kids. They're gonna have a hell of a time at school. I wonder what this
sort of thing does to a family?
S.O.S.

If he is written up as a "Sex Offender", he won't be able to live in
his home or probably live anywhere near children. Since there are few
places sex offenders are allowed or tolerated, people often end up
living under bridges. His marriage will probably end in a divorce,
danger to the kids will be sighted as a reason (his presence will cause
problems living, working, and for the children even if they move).
He'll probably wander around the country a lot, probably alone.
He may kill himself. Regarding the family, they try to keep together
for a while, but maybe not.
I thought this was interesting...

The simple fact is, what has made all of this possible in the first
place is computer technology. There's already talk of registering
other types of offenders and even people associated with certain
groups. See Sheriff Baca in California who wants a registry for skin
heads and neo-nazi groups.
Here's what's in our future in no particular order:* Special license plates for DWI offendors, Sex Offendors and any other kind of offender.
* GPS tracking for all felons.
* Zoning felons to specific geographic areas. This already occurs by rent restrictions.
* Sex Offenders and other felons will be denied health care,
education and being admitted into an 'old age' home. ( This is already happening. )
All of this will lead to:* Automatic lifetime incarceration for all sex offenses.
* Death Penalty for any 'contact' sex offenses.
From there...other things will happen.
