You may be right. Cockroaches are resilient, like us. Cockroaches are aggressive, clever and hard to kill, like us. They will reproduce up to the level of availability of resources for current consumption, like us.
Perhaps it would be accurate to say that cockroaches are to human beings what human beings are to Mother Nature.

Ugh!! Cockroaches! Last year, I heard the statement, "Lobsters are the cockroaches of the sea," on a Discovery program.
We lived in Valdosta, GA for three years when we were first married-egads, the size of those cockroaches!!
Nasty, disgusting things!

Yeah, cocoroaches are the only living being that I kill for something that is not food... after reading some posts here, I think that maybe cocoroaches reminds me of how disgusting humans are as a species... they're like mirrors.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('BigTex', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('TheDude', 'B')reeding in dogs has gone way further than in humans.

Not if you compare the physical size and appearance of various breeds of dogs with the size and appearance of the various mental configurations of industrial civilization human beings.

It's the gratuitous variety of human mental configurations that are analogous to dogs.

Just a bunch of useless skills.

The way that dogs are most similar to man, is they have a keen desire not just to follow a pack leader, but to actually bown down before a deity and worship....US.
