Aaron - completly right about the social infrastructure. Years ago I studied population movement and interestingly it sort of doughnuts out like ripples in a pond only to repeat itself over 25 -30 years. Inner city types spill into the burbs who move to the country - their kids then find cities cheap and gentrify the poor centres - it all begins again. Perhaps this cycle will speed up?
Over here (UK) property prices have just about topped out at lunacy levels and there's a move to the country just peaking. I read the USA is about to hit the buffers too.
Leanan - I love the idea that USA only educates kids to keep them off the streets. What sort of reason is that? College here is about to cost most people £3000 a year for three years. Price up from zero.
