More than 10,100 teachers will see pink slips in their mailboxes over the next few days as districts up and down California meet a Saturday deadline to warn staff of anticipated layoffs due to the state's budget crisis.

That sucks! I would have no problem staying home with my daughter. But, if this type of shit happened in Oregon, it would be lame because my daughter goes to a... RARE....great public school. 5 minutes from our house, good teachers, principal, and community support.

You know, when teachers make less than 60K/year and "administrators" make six figure salaries it makes me wonder. Because the HS i went there was something like 20 administrators and 10 counselors and some 50ish teachers.

I wish they would cut on the administrators first, then on the imbecile arts and sports before they would cut off teachers. Those are 10K people who will be out of a job and will have a hard time finding a replacement, and thus the economy will take a hit.

But then our HS system is a great waste IMHO and if they reduced the amount of time kids spent in school (by 2 hrs, cut lunch and 10min off every class) and made the curriculum more rigorous everyone wins, and we save money.

In the public schools I went to, World Wars I and II never happened, the Great Depression never happened, US gov't was not explained, etc. They were holding pens, intended to keep kids off of the streets and give nonwhites plenty of chances to beat the whites down.

Good riddance, I say.

However, public schools can be very good in all-White areas, where there is a real sense of humanity and community.

I am proud, as a Californian, that several of the more active pro-White organizations are in California. From the european-american issues forum, to Terrible Tommy Metzger, they are all proud products of necessity. The Institute of Historical Review is there in Cali also, and this latest issue shows why organizations of this type flourish in California.

Education, if you're White, is the forbidden fruit there. White students have to learn on the sly, and they do! They go on the net, to the library after school hours, etc and they learn; doing just the thing the non-white influenced state doesn't want them to do. The outcome of things like this will be a whole generation of self-educated and militant Whites, who see themselves as the new Founders of the new America. There are skinheads and nazis and KKK in the Heartland of course, and God bless them. But the really firey ones, the determined ones, are coming out of California because of anti-white measures. They feel the heat and fight back there.

Maybe we could start with the retarded and the vegetative and the criminals (white collar specially).

Most of the footballs, baseball, and basketball coaches make 2 -3 times what the teacher make (thats minimum) Fire those fuckers and keep the teachers.

Highschools don't need coaches.
