But yes, consumerism, short termism, disposabilism, quantity over quality, stuff over experience, mechanism over spiritualism, shock and awe over truth and beauty etc etc.

There are no problems. Everything is as it should be. Nothing is going to happen that cannot happen. The laws of thermodynamics and nature are in full control.

Remove "planned obsolescence" from our way of life and many problems will be solved without reducing our standard of living. But this isn't conducive to allowing the top 1% to possess 40% of the wealth anymore, as less of our money will be flowing to them then...
