The Energy Non Crisis by Lindsey Williams.

I have been talking to a friend of mine about peak oil and he sent me links to this youtube video talking about the endless supply of oil.

I have searched the forums for info on this guy but couldn't find anything. Has anyone heard of this book or this guy?

He's a Baptist preacher. That's their line. They still drive Suburbans. They don't believe in global warming or climate change, and they don't think that there's any problem getting oil. God will provide. It's a cultural thing. As a culture goes down it tries to do the same thing that it did on the way up. In our culture we are all "consumers" and we use oil.

We are going to see a lot of this nonsense.

Down here it is Escalades. Even my French father-in-law picked up on it.

Some lunk just asked Jean Laherrere what he thought of Williams, over at TOD. That you?

Williams is a joke, quite thorough in his delusions or cynical quest for money.

We've briefly discussed him here a few times: 'The Energy Non-Crisis' Lindsey Williams, for instance.

No that wasn't me. I read TOD but never have posted there.

Thanks for the link, I tried searching his name but nothing came up specifically about Williams. I am trying to figure out if this guy has any "following" or if he is just a one-man show trying to sell books.
