For whatever reason, Ron Paul was a no show on the day that bill was passed in the House. However, he stated later that he would have voted against it if he had been present (makes one wonder about his priorities). Dennis Kucinich was only 1 of 6 House Reps to vote against it.

Here is good article about it:

And here in Maine, we're supposed to vote for Tom Allen, who voted for that bill, over Susan Collins, who sponsored it.

Scary shit. Ron Paul should have had his ass there. He is to busy holding on to the fucking pipe dream that all of the rest of the candidates will be assassinated so that he might have a chance to win.

Face it, we're all on the list. OR on some other list. Or they'll make up a list as needed.

This is why I like Ran Prieur's advice, just stay low, and try to stay out of the Empire's way so you're not under it when it collapses.

Yep. Best form of "dissent" one can engage in IMO is to participate in "the system" as little as possible. Grow as much of your own food as you can or at least support local producers, deal on a cash-only or barter basis, keep your income level low enough to avoid taxation and if possible work for yourself so that they don't even get the "loan" of your money until refund time, etc. etc.

More effective form of protest in the long run than marching with signs...
"It means buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy, because Kansas? Is goin' bye-bye... "
