Since there has already been a thread on seemingly everything under the PO sun, I thought I would start a thread on the topic of threads covering topics that have already been covered in other threads.

This way, if at any point someone becomes exasperated at not being able to start a new thread because there is already a thread on every conceivable topic, and says something like "geez, I wonder if there is a thread about threads that have already been covered in other threads", one of our experts can just post the link to this thread and say "there's already been a thread on that."

Truly, there is nothing new under the sun.
