I guess it is simple as there is no particular good (or bad) trait that just white people have. Sometimes cultural inheritence (and perhaps genes) make a certain trait more pronounced than for some other group but I can't think of a certain thing that would define the collective as a whole.

Is that so disappointing? Did you want something unique for yourself to be proud of?

Nothing bad about black folks on this thread, only things you appreciate.

Even if you hate black people, if you can't think of something nice to say, just head over to the Any Black on PO thread.

There are things that bug the crap out of me that I have seen in some black people I have encountered, but this thread is for the good stuff.

1. Black people can absorb terrible tragedy with faith and grace.

2. Black people have made professional sports in the U.S. more competitive and more entertaining to watch.

3. I have known many black men who made careers out of crummy jobs that they managed to take pride in and did the best that they could and did their best to set their kids up with better lives than they had.

4. I appreciate that people like Bill Cosby will say what needs to be said to the thugs among his people.
