Just means those other nations have more criminals on the streets.

I can't tell you how safe I feel now that pot dealers are off the streets.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('mekrob', 'J')ust means those other nations have more criminals on the streets.

So you seriously think Denmark, Germany, etc are crawling with criminals?

I don't have the source but I remember hearing that something like 60% of US prisoners are NON VIOLENT drug offenders. War on drugs indeed. More like war on the citizenry. How long must this country suffer under reactionary pricks enjoying the profits from the war on drugs while the taxpayer shoulders the ever increasing cost of their miserably failed policies (YES BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE) - rebugnicrats and demicans alike. Scum.

Do you have any idea what it would do to the economy if we let the private prison sector sag?

We need to invent new crimes, jail more people, energize the economy, etc.

No. I was being sarcastic. Where have I ever defended on this forum the status quo with respect to the government or law enforcement that would give you the idea that I'd actually seriously think this?

Lets rewrite US immigration laws and replace our criminal populations with law-abiding Danes, Germans, etc.

Initially I'd agree with MeKnob. Yikes! All those crooks on the streets!

But we know that crime rates are actually rather low in these other countries.

I'd like to see that chart, along with some RED dots showing the degree of "racial diversity" in each country.

I'm guessing we might see a similarity of curves....

I actually agree with PlantedAgent, let's deport our crime problem and import law-abiding Germans and Danes. 8)

Or probably dead, in the case of Iran.
