Two Posters That I Miss

Schweinshaxe and NEOPO. I hope I didn't contribute to their leaving. Those guys made this an interesting place. NEO's rage was very engaging. Slimepack's humor was second to none. If you guys are lurking, PMS wants you back in the game.

Well, I'll have to apologize then PMS, I think I probably had a hand in NEOPO leaving. He just got too worked up whenever I posted!

Schweinshaxe - Man that guy cracked me up... Indeed a sense of humor that could only be described as ... Unique.

hmmm, Neo never bothered me... I was surprised to hear he was gone.

I hope this is just a general question PMS, if so:

CeeCee: Today I made / bought / learnt .... (for a post oil world). I hope things are well with her and the school has come to fruition.
Her thread has close to a quater of a million views to date and is the most valuable resource in PFTF - the one thread that never needed to be stuck.

MadScientist: I hope he is happy with his Relocation. He started the whole Urban vs. Rural, urban/suburban/rural transition conversation here.

I don't think I noticed Schweinshaxe much. But, I did like how Neopo would express things.

Another interesting goner is Gideon. I didn't always agree with him but he was very direct and intense. AND, if you search for his posts, he apparently came back in September and edited all his posts to just say something he's apparently had on his mind a lot.

I miss Gideon too, even though we butted heads on a lot of things.Chapparel was pretty funny. Neopo came back as Morpheus for a little while. Lateralus was very upfront, refreshing take on things in an angry sorta way, he's probably just takin' another break, Monte of course needs to come back and start posting again. Even oilymaster/ offshore with his completely close-minded intolerance and hatred was fun to mess with on occassion.

^^

Yeah I miss Gideon too, his ultra agressive parenting skills posts were very entertaining reading, and other stuff I just liked.

I miss Neopo too although I cannot say exactly why.

Schwein's humour really passed me by and made me feel like a stuck up pom! oh well.

I liked Lorenzo too when he was telling everyone how crap they or there countries were, but he only seems to post about biofuels now.

Oh yeah, and Bigg. What a meany 8)

I miss Schweine.

Neopo not so much. He was a big ball of childish rebellion just searching for an authority figure to lash out at. He unleashed on me a few too many times.

Bullshit.

Neopo asked to get booted.

You had ZERO to do with his departure.

Sorry. False. Neopo got temp banned for flaming moderators and trying to discredit the site. He then tried several times to evade the temp ban and return to the site leading to his perm ban.

Actually, roccman may be technically correct.

Neopo asked to get banned
You could say that by his actions, he was asking for it. But, even beyond that, I am sure I read things from Neopo literally asking to be banned. He seemed to be fascinated with it. It may not be why he was banned, but that doesn;t mean he didn't ask.

You (Airline Pilot) had ZERO to do with his departure
Your statements confirm this, AP had nothing to do with it (as far as we know).

While that may have happened leading up to his perm. banning...

Look back to 9/11/07 around 7-8ish MST ...

You will find a post by NEOPO pleading to be band.

A mod (who I will not mention) granted NEOPO his wish.

For AP to stroke himself in front of all to see is characteristic of his demented mind.

Be that as it may, it was his behavior not his requests that lead to him being banned. After he got temp banned, he tried to sneak back into the site, so it's not like he just got tired of coming here.

He behaved like a spoiled brat and eventually got treated like one.

I don't agree.

He was not in violation of the COC.

Lots of posters here behave like spoiled brats and they are not banned.

Flaming on Mods opinions is not against the COC (flaming on mods decision is).

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('roccman', 'F')laming on Mods opinions is not against the COC (flaming on mods decision is).

Correct, and it was the later, not the former which led to be NEOPO being temp banned. He plastered the site with posts accusing the moderators of all sorts of bias and collusion in our moderation decisions and calling us a variety of names. I think it is a testament to the extreme caution and restraint shown by the administrators of this site that such activity only earned him a one week temp ban.

I miss both Schwein (he made me laugh) and NeoPO (he never went off on me, but he did demand to be banned  ).

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('roccman', 'N')ot from where I was standing.

He called bullshit.
You are not privy to much of what he wrote. The posts which violated the COC were moved to the deleted section which is only visible to mods and administrators. He threw a temper tantrum and screamed every juvenile insult and accusation he could think of at everyone in reach. I tried very hard to ignore his juvenile ire. If there had been any way to avoid banning him, we would have.

I miss schwein. The guy was an absolute genius and a total riot at times.

I don't remember too much about the other person... his crimes must have been committed during one of my 'quieter' periods.
