If you give a man a fish you will have kept him from hunger for a day. If you teach a man to fish he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

Willful failure to file is the typical verdict in these kinds of cases, there is nothing unusual here. The next step; six months into his jail time, the DOJ will offer him probation in exchange for agreeing to file past returns and pay the amounts computed. You see, there is one more thing they need in order to get the money; his signature on the tax returns.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'm')y fater made him an offer he couldnt refuse..luca brazza held a gun to his head and my father said either your brains or your signature will be on the paper...he signed it....

He needs to:

(a) file the unfiled forms
(b) pay the amounts calculated
(c) Pay any penalties, work with the IRS, there may not be any if they feel like being nice, and
(d) If he doesn't like paying the IRS, then either take a vow of poverty and not make enough to tax, or leave the US - and pay the tax of whatever country he ends up in.

Seems he should be able to BUY some small African country and be King. Why'd he have to make things so hard for himself?
