CNN's Anderson Cooper Is CIA?

Unread postby mattduke » Thu 31 Jan 2008, 00:20:17

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'C')NN's Anderson Cooper spent summers interning for a career with the Central Intelligence Agency, according to a report at a gossip website.

"Following his sophomore and junior years at Yale—a well-known recruiting ground for the CIA—Cooper spent his summers interning at the agency's monolithic headquarters in Langley, Virginia, in a program for students interested in intelligence work," reports Radar Online.

"His involvement with the agency ended there, and he chose not to pursue a job with the agency after graduation, according to a CNN spokeswoman, who confirmed details of Cooper's CIA involvement to Radar." See this article. And thanks to Brad Funkhouser for this post.

Of course, if the evil Cooper were one of many CIA assets in the media, he would hardly admit it.

UPDATE from Chris VanLandingham: "According to Wikipedia, after Anderson 'left' the CIA he went to Burma and got involved with dissident students fighting the government there while claiming to be a reporter though having no affiliation with any news outlet. After that he went to Vietnam, Somalia, Bosnia, and Rwanda. Nope can't be CIA. He would have told us."

First off, it is ILLEGAL for a CIA agent to tell anyone he is CIA, it is against the law. (Unless he has clearance like the director or the fronts)
That is why valery phlame was such a hot topic, whoever outed her goes to jail, man.

but somehow no one went to jail.... hmmm.

Secondly, if anyone in a suit and sunglasses (yes, they do wear those, they are hitech and do amazing things) ever tells you he is cia, HE IS NOT. They will never tell you that, ADN they usually won't tell you their name either.

thirdly, All media are covered by lots of them.

Talking about ONE GUY? that's funny. Which one is NOT?
Like looking for a straw in a haystack.

the lady who said HE WOULD HAVE TOLD US probably is one herself, anyone knows better than that, its illegal.

If you ever call a shill a see eye aye and you happen to be right, you could get arrested.

Daily Kos, the same. They've got every aspect covered. If you think alternative media is any different, you'd be surprised.

I don't think there's any there, there. If he was still active wouldn't everyone knowing this kind of neutralize his effectiveness? If a CIA guy got a job as a high profile talking head, what would be the point of telling everyone about it? Like he's going to get an interview with BinLaden and then peek out his blindfold while they're taking him to the cave, so's he can tell his bosses, " they took me up a path on this mountain, there was pebbles an' shit on the ground, I think we passed a little stunted tree about halfway up, we went around a corner and I distinctly remember smelling a dead goat, LOOK.... just walk up the mountain with the tree and the dead goat and you'll FIND HIM!" A much more effective plant would be a covert producer on TV, Anderson Cooper has very little say about what goes out over the air, get a grip.
Perhaps the population would be less swayed to socialism if we had fewer examples of socialism from our "Free Market Capitalists". -----fiddler dave

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Flowerr', 'F')irst off, it is ILLEGAL for a CIA agent to tell anyone he is CIA, it is against the law. (Unless he has clearance like the director or the fronts)

i had 2 interviews for computer jobs in 1994, based on an
ad in the yellow pages.

in the first one, the person said, "i spent my career fighting communism, from the Baltic to the Aegean." that last part, it turns out, was the slogan of Intermarium, a religious group that worked with the CIA during the Cold War. he was an older guy who graduated from Stanford in about 1950 and was accompanied by a younger woman.

in the second one, the person said, "i interviewed with the CIA when i got out of college". he didn't mention my first interview, but was responding to the same yellow pages ad.

the first guy mumbled his name. i'll probably never know if the name the second guy told me was his real name.

the second guy was an extremely skilled network tech. who gave me a tour of the Pac Bell headquarters building in SF. it was like walking into a sci-fi movie. no employees, all managers. at 2 PM in the afternoon, the building was nearly empty, in 1994.

They can tell you after a certain time after they have left employment. Not when they are active.
