PeakOil is You

PeakOil is You

State of the Union speech.

What's on your mind?
General interest discussions, not necessarily related to depletion.

Yeah that'd be pretty sweet if he was just like.

"uhh...oil is peaking and the markets are bananas, so I'm moving to Costa Rica....." (steps off the podium and leaves with the secret service to the sound of silence)

Cheney sits directly behind him so that he can shove his hand up Bush's ass and make Bush's lips move .. if you look closely you can almost see Cheney's lips move when Bush "talks". It's no wonder Pelosi has that look on her face - since she was positioned to see the puppeteering from the most unflattering angle.

Live from D.C. ! Its the State of the Union show. Starring Barack Hussein Obama with special guests....Snoop Dog, 50 cent and Lil Kim!!

The topic this year will be "It's all Bushes fault and those damn evil bankers!!" It will be his best campaign speech ever!!!!!!

Obama Moves to Centralize Control Over Party Strategy
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'P')resident Obama is reconstituting the team that helped him win the White House to counter Republican challenges in the midterm elections and recalibrate after political setbacks that have narrowed his legislative ambitions.

The great orator will need to muster all of his power if he starts talking about evil bankers.
When you hand over trillions of dollars to the banks and are currently conspiring with them on how to overhaul the whole financial system to make it better for the people, someone is going to call Expletive deleted.. on him. I hope.

Obama's Preposterous "Partial Spending Freeze"; Lessons of 1937
http://globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/2010/01/obamas-preposterous-partial-spending.html

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')his is so ridiculous I don't know how the administration is not embarrassed to death to present it. Moreover "The freeze would be measured overall and would not be applied across the board." The freeze is only for three years.

How can anyone in the Administration expect to be taken seriously about budget deficits after presenting this ridiculous plan?

This should be the: "What I'm going to be doing as a better use of my time tonight than listening to the State of the BS speech".

I think I might reinstall World of Warcraft or wash labels off recycled glass bottles.
