Forgive me if I do not re-write the whole story. I have been awake about 27 hours and need to make a phone call or two.

I know the feeling.

I get that sinking feeling every time I head home from the ranch and see a dead oak tree that has fallen on our fence. It always has to be fixed now or the herd will go into a neighbor's pasture.

Take a deep breath, get to work.

Maybe a goat wanted to offer himself up to be a burt offering to the God Of Isn'tReal and got carried away?

Maybe you should keep foster kids instead....

Ouch, Cur. Glad to hear that General Lafayette is OK, and sorry to hear about your wabbits. Sorry.

Fire's going to be more and more of an issue as we leave clean-burning NG and electric heat behind. We can all learn from this. My father's house burned down when he was a boy, and I think it was formative to his character.

Citizens! at this time Homeland Security has elevated us to a Orange Alert! Please report any disturbed trash cans or suspicous activity to the Dept of Agriculture.

Remember Feb is truck month at your Local Ford Dealership, and we know you are getting a $1200 check!

Buy(finance) a truck or the goat terrorists win.

I guess I'm a little too close to the issue to see the humor.

Thank you for your well wishes.

I have one day to try to get the shell up before we return to below zero weather and snow. If I don't get the job done then I get to keep the goats in the garage until it is done.

I'll report sometime tonight.

I'm sorry, but according to your blog, you're Jewish. And so I must wonder, why are you kvetching to a bunch of sub-human goyim like ourselves?

I am curious, how does a goat house burn down? I mean, WTF? Is there grass or hay or something that in conjunction with .... I dunno ..... goat urine, maybe, that oxidized and became flammable? That's just weird. I'd sure want to know WHY it burned, to prevent it again.

Or maybe it's just a Palestinian goat.

You seem to have been quite lucky, Cur, all things considered. Good luck with the rebuilding.

I'll have to re-read the blog to see where you got that.

While I am sympathetic, the Jews don't want me.

I think the Messiah has already come.

---
edit: forgot about the heading. I think it is important that Christians remember that they worship the God of Israel.

One way to think about it is that the Jews really have won the argument with the goyim (the Christian ones at least). The disagreement between Jews and Christians is the identity of the Messiah. Are there any disagreements that could be anymore Jewish?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')hough I thought I had taken every precaution, every precaution was not good enough. Either through an electrical short or, more likely, some failure with the heat lamp led to this senseless and needless loss.

Well, you say God of Israel on your blog, and I can't imagine any self-respecting Aryan having that on there. However you may be Identity Christian, and thus could put that on there but not be sucking up to, or a member of, the parasite horde.

Sucks about the fire, I guess no heater is foolproof. Or goatproof?

I am soooo sorry, WC!
To have to rebuild, and in these temps won't be fun. Temps are supposed to be below zero again tomorrow night over here.
Good luck wishes for a healthy baby goat!!
