Ezra Levant Takes On The Canadian Thought Police

Unread postby deMolay » Sun 13 Jan 2008, 22:56:47

The so called Human Rights and Thought Police in Canada have finally taken on a fighter. Ezra Levant. A former (independant) political magazine publisher in Canada who ran a very small outspoken magazine. He published the Mohammed cartoons and found himself on the wrong side of the State Censor's in Canada. This will be a classic battle for Freedom of Speech and against the State's Right to muzzle the Free Press. I urge every one on this site to follow the case and pass on the links. It is being posted on youtube. Hopefully it makes it way around the world. http://ezralevant.com/2008/01/my-visit- ... court.html the youtube clips are here. His slapdowns of the State Censor are awesome. They are all linked here www.ezralevant.com Prime examples of how far down the slope Canada has slid. When it comes to Freedom and Liberty. Very Stalinesque.

That is funny "states right to muzzle the free press" ha ha

The state has no right to muzzle anything.

Anyway the press is not free, it takes a lot of money to own it.

Ted Kennedy and company have tried passing "hate speech" laws recently so I imagine it will only be a matter of time.
