Looking For Some Stats

Unread postby Grimnir » Tue 08 Feb 2005, 02:59:27

I'm looking for some statistics on US oil usage. Specifically, I'd like to know what percent of our oil goes to transportation, what percent to manufacturing (eg plastics), what percent to pesticide and fertilizer production, etc. Does anyone know where I could find this kind of information?

Thanks! That's a good start, but I'm really after something that zooms in on agricultural usage. How many barrels go to agriculture? Of that, how many are burned for energy, and how many are used as a raw material?
