The mass media is keeping a tight lid on the NH recount thus far....we'll see how they respond in the coming weeks once the recount gets started.

I'm sure all the major Democratic and Republican candidates understand the potential for vote rigging. Most likely, one candidate from each party has been given the "nod" by Diebold and that candidate knows.

I really think the litmus test is the degree to which the candidate is willing to cater to the Jewish lobby. Diebold has Jewish financers. Also, there is the Bilderberg connection.

My sense is that TPTB would prefer to replace Bush with a Bush-clone which has been "democratically" elected by the people (with the help of Diebold). Always better to give fascism a face of legitimacy to gain acquiescence of the people.

But Bush may not cooperate.

McCain. They want someone in there next time that will make GBush look sane by comparison. It is TOTALLY a pro-Israeli policy issue, but all the "serious" candidates have been vetted already.

RdSNt--What would they gain by stalling the elections? That's a perfect reasonable assumption, I just wonder what their motivations would be.

Oh yeah... McCain got showered with love by the Israeli lobby when he sang his little "bomb, bomb, Iran" tune.

Well your idea that Bushco. would delay the elections is tin foil hat.

There is absolutely no need for them to stay in power. But I would not be surprised in the least to find that the vote was rigged in Hillary's favor.

Obama was projected before the election to have a 98% chance of winning. Personally I don't care for his politics but Hillary has much bigger lead on the inside voting mechanics.

It isn't a coincidence that both McCain and Hillary are APACS candidates of choice. APAC does not care for Obama at all he might just do things they don't like.

There is no evidence the NH election was rigged.

White liberals in NH said they were going to do the liberal thing and vote for Obama when polled, but when they got into the voting booth they were uncomfortable voting for a black man and so voted for Hillary instead.

Remember..Deval Patrick won a landslide vote over Kerry Healey in 2006 in the MA governor race...so unless that election was rigged...it kind of disproves the theory that people in this part of the country will take a woman over a man of color. Hillary won a lot of the larger precincts bordering MA.

Deval IS a black man unlike Barack who has one black parent.

Hopefully, a recount will put to rest all this speculation.

All the anti-semitism is a little sickening. It's like there's a bunch of lurking neo-cons, ...er neo-fascists(same thing), waiting to jump in with these statements to discredit the posts.

Excuse me? I don't think you're going to find many true anti-Semites on this thread. If you think I am, you have another think coming.

Actually more of a comment on several recent posts on PeakOil.com
when threads critical of the Bush Administration or TPTB are suddenly magnets for anti-semetic, racial or other unsavory comments with the appearance of being intentionally done to kill the thread.

Postby aflurry » Mon 14 Jan 2008, 20:35:22

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Plantagenet', 'T')he simplest explanation for the NH result is that liberal democrats told the pollsters they were going to vote for Obama but when they were alone in the ballot box their internal racism took over and they just couldn't make themselves vote for a black man.

that actually doesn't address the disparity between hand counted and computer counted votes at all.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Fishman', '
')Sure you can, in a Party based on the gospel of victimhood, anytime you don't like the outcome, you must be a victim. It leads to frequent losses. Don't ask what could we have improved on, studied harder, worker harder, or hold ourselves accountable, we are the victims.

that's funny. sounds just like the USA's reaction to 9/11.

Yeah you need to look up the term Neo-Cons because I don't think that word means what you think it does. Cid.

Anyway I hate AIPAC and it's influence on US politics and foreign policy. Just try and get elected in the US and criticize the action of the Israel government, it is very nearly impossible. That being said I have many many Jewish friends and I love them dearly.

AIPAC themselves have expressed concerns about Obama because he said something about the Israeli occupation that made them nervous.

Kucinich needs help paying for the recount. It will cost close to $65,000. I just made my donation.
