I kid you not, I met a lawyer named Cantwell Muckenfuss the Third.

What did he name his son?

Cantwell Muckenfuss the Fourth, of course!

Generation after generation of Cantwell Muckenfusses.

The possibilities for mockery in junior high school must have been endless!

No way, really? Cantwell Muckenfuss. Come to think of it, it's so absurd as to be distinct and unique. No wonder they pass it down through the generations. But you're kidding, right? That's a name worthy of Charles Dickens.

I was once informed of the accidental death of my best friend by a policeman who introduced himself as "Constable Slaughter".

I almost laughed as I accompanied him to the morgue..

That seems vaguely erotic. Anyway, I nominate this as thread of the year for 2008.

There is a family owned chain of three funeral parlors in Northern Kentucky, founded in 1906 by Scott Chambers who partnered in 1928 with his son-in-law Wallace Grubbs.

Four generations have now served as owners and operators of the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Homes...

We've all seen Band of Brothers, who were led by CO Major Dick. Winters. Potential CMOH awardee Richard Winters. Yes, he likes it that way: majordickwinters.com

My last speeding ticket (early 90s) came from Officer Phlegm. He was pretty calm about it all but I was fuckin' pissed!

Hey, are you in Seattle?

Holy molars, there's a dentist around here named Dr. Hurt, LOL>

Old pal told me of her dentist's office where she lived in N. Carolina, 2 dentists: Dr. Payne and Dr. Hurt.

The hospital I used to work at had Dr. Blood and Dr. Death (pronounced Deeth, apparently common English name) and a proctologist Dr. Butt.

How bout a funny URL? The real estate company selling lots on a place called Pen Island got www.penisland.com...

I kid you not, Cantwell F. Muckenfuss The Third is real.

And he's a big campaign donor.

The incredible thing is that it has the same number of syllables as John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt.

Cantwell F. Muckenfuss The Third,
His name is my name too,
Whenever I go out,
The people always shout,
Cantwell F. Muckenfuss The Third
Tah,dah,dah,dah,dah,dah,dah.
