We get these threads from newbies all the time.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'S')axo Bank experts believe that oil prices will hit the level of 175 dollars per barrel in 2008, whereas grain prices will double. The U.S. and the Chinese markets will collapse by 25 and 40 percent respectively by the end of the summer of 2008. Every third of ten U.S. large building companies will go bankrupt. The British economy will also start declining.

If this is true my oil options will make me about 300k. Always nice. But I don't believe it. To much supply coming online into a slowing economy.

300K, that should come in handy for toilet paper after TSHTF.

Concerning 2008,
"I've a bad feeling about this" (tm)

Weird to consider that the coming year is supposed to be great as i will get married and have my first children next summer.
I guess I'm a very optimistic doomer. ;-)

You might want to make that "children" singular, better for all involved.

And you are one link in a chain of life which goes back about 4 billion years. Just think of the trials and tribulations all those ancestors survived to pass the baton on to next generation, and each of billions of generations did it.

Congrats. Optimistic doomerosity might be underrated.

From the link:

"It is worthy of note that the majority of Saxo Bank’s previous forecasts for 2007 have proved to be true to fact."

and then

The bank has its forecast on the new U.S. president too. The bank predicts that Ron Paul, the Texan Republican, will take the office in 2008.

WTF? Ron Paul will soon be Bhuritto than US President.

That is one thing that just not gone happen
