When do we get a new one? I'm getting a little fatigued having that giant ass over my head about to drop a turd, albeit onto a Cat 5 fan but still. . .

Great minds & all

Well thanks, Aaron, but to be honest I was going to use that serious shortonoil quote about coal that roccman suggested. You know me, I take this all very seriously. :shock:

I'm punishing Penn for being so obtuse recently... & for this grip post.

Feel free to change it at your whim.

OK, you're not going to tell me me what a "grip" post is. Fine. I looked it up in the slang dictionary. Sounds like you were actually giving me a compliment while pretending otherwise. Gosh, Aaron, I'm humbled.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '1'). grip

To have a abundant amount of something

Yo! I got a grip of cash today, lets go spend it.

or

Theres no need to buy more beer, I have a grip at home.
2. grip

A whole lot of something.

I went to the store a bought a whole grip of forties.

3. grip

$10,000. Named so due to the size of the wad of bills. Unlike a "stack" which is how 10 $100 bills are put together (in a stack), a grip is 10 stacks, only way to hold it is to grip it because its all rolled up.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Shannymara', '
')Man, I've spent years learning to grow up and control my urges to act on my whims, I'm finally starting to get somewhere with that, and here you are encouraging me. What did I ever do to you? :razz:
There is a serious side to this post, Shanny, and I'm aware of it. I've been coming to grips with it too. The fun-loving side of me resists it because it involves no pleasure. It is the hard nosed Stoic no nonsense frame of mind. It is very hard to let go of the happy times when everything was fine and cheerful, but it looks like we will have to. :(

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Shannymara', '
') I had to run for my life once. It was 3 AM, it was 9 degrees F outside, and I was 17. I had no socks on, a letter opener in my pocket and an aluminum bat in my hand. I kept laughing the whole way to the police station (about 8 miles), though I had to do it silently at times to stay hidden.

Geez, I'm just the opposite. Now in my olditude, I'm finally letting myself do what I want instead of limiting myself constantly!

I would say grip was intended to be gripe as in whining hence waaaambulance.

But I got to LOL that your complaint is now the highlighted quote and still has the Cat 5 SHTF reference hehehehe ;)
