For those of you who travel and find yourselves in hotels now and then like I do, this short news clip video about sleazy housecleaning practices is a 'must' see.

bwech...communist conditions ; )

really though, cleaning too much with little children can cause serieus imune deficiency defects in them. (they don't build up resistence for things that might kill them when they're 50 or so)

Ahhh yes, communist conditions.

That reminds me of the public water drinking machines in the former Soviet Union. Anyone else here remember the glasses they used over and over again? Well, I certainly do.

In fact, I used them all the time while there and never got sick. I remember pouring the water into the glass from the little spout... drinking the water... then putting the used glass back under the spout for the next person. No one ever stole the glasses either for some reason. There was always one there.

Maybe that's why I'm satisfied using the same plastic water bottle for over a year now. Some else's water bottle, in fact. 8O

I thinking that probably all westerners would have gotten a serious shock, if they would ever be offered a pint on cool, refreshing soviet root beer.

Why? It was delivered in big systerns and the valve was about 15cm above the floor of the thing. Why, you might as again... there were 10cm of worms living inside at all times.
