Locked Bowel - Autoimmune?

Unread postby TwilightNanny » Fri 30 Nov 2007, 10:16:44

Someone in my family seems to have Locked Bowel ... (an autoimmune issue). No bowel movement for 5 days
Not just constipation - Digestive system stopped working ... or at least the intestines seemed to have ceased functioning after working with liquid nails for several hours in a bathroom ... (He has had some brief tipping into this 'gut binding up' previously, but he came out of it in a couple of days)

Laxatives aren't the answer - Do doctors know what to do, should this be an autoimmune issue? I read a couple of articles (there aren't many) and ruptured appendix seemed to happen when system becomes toxic. He knows how serious this is, as he is talking about writing a will

I was not too pleased to see he got MiraLAX at the pharmacy (Contains a strong dose of Poly ethylene glycol #3350) which I suspect for the diarrhea to EGBE exposure. At least there was no butyl ... but I think this type of thing runs the risk of more exposure to a chemical that causes autoimmune issues to add on ... or stronger.

I wish he would take some glyconutrients, but he doesn't believe in them, like I do

LOOK UP V.E. IRONS and COLEMA BOARD.

That guy has all the answers you need.

Unfortunately, he died at the age of 98 in a car accident, otherwise he may have lived a lot longer.

Your family member needs to do colonics (not enemas!). And he/she probably should get started as soon as possible.

You can buy the equipment (under $200) and do the whole thing yourself. You don't need to pay a professional but that is up to you.

If you really want to get the colon healthy again, you need to sustain the colonics over several days, combined with fasting.

I was having major health problems at the age of 25, which I believe were related to a life-time of bad dieting (eating lots of red-meat) and heavy stress.

Switching to a vegan diet helped, but it wasn't enough because I had a very toxic condition in my colon.

I self-administered colonics (14 total) combined with a water fast over a 7 day period. It was simply unbelievable what came out. It was probably 10+ pounds of the foulest smelling toxic stuff (very stringy) you have ever seen.

Since then, I've been very healthy. My immune system is ten times stronger than it was before I did the colonics. I don't need to do the colonics anymore because of my healthy diet.

Red meat is the real killer because it often don't pass completely thru the colon. Some people can digest it better than others.

Here is the website you need to check out.
http://www.colema.com/

It is possible to make the colema board yourself but you need to buy all the special tubing.

Not all the fasting supplements are necessary. The psyllium seed husk and the bentonite are probably the most important because they facilitate the removal of the compacted stuff from colon.

At the website, they talk about enemas but actually what they are prescribing are colonics. Colonics fill the ENTIRE colon with water and flush it out over a length of time whereas enemas only fill a small portion of the colon and flush only a couple times. Partial enemas don't work...it's only a superficial treatment.

Good luck.

I agree a colonostomy should be enough to get you working again, but may not be the total solution.

A nurse friend mentioned using soapy water as an irritant to stimulate bowel movement?

Personally, I went to Nepal, ate the wrong things apparently, and now I am as regular as ever!

Sometimes a little intestinal buddy - plus proper diet and excercise - is all you need! ; - )

Once I got some kind of intestinal bug that involved having VERY PAINFUL gas in my intestines. It hurt like hell, and any kind of jarring was bad - I rode my motorcycle home from work standing on the pegs for any bump, it was not fun. I went to the store and got Sunsweet prune juice, couple of bottles and just started drinking it until I was prune juice pretty much all through. It swept most of the bug out and I got better soon.

Prunes won't do it, you have to use the juice.

If he's not a coffee drinker, then try coffee. For non-coffee drinkers, coffee can have strong laxative properties.

More importantly, if this doesn't clear up within 2 days (or if experiencing symptoms other than constipation), this person needs to get to a doctor/emerg ward asap. Your friend could have an intestinal blockage or some other problem that needs immediate treatment.

Taking a stab here, but I once read an article about Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre that said he didn't sh-- for a week when he got addicted to Vicodin early in his career. So, check and see if he/she is already on some medication.

He had just a little start up of a couple of bowel movements, then today 2 regular ones .... he just added Metamucil, but not too much ... (& I asked people to pray for him)

With you new ideas, we'll keep them 'handy for future' ...

If he ever does work with chemicals in a small area in future, hoping he will wear air - tight goggles.

We are very much relieved

Also, consider that he might have a gluten intolerance. Gluten can cause a lot of problems with the digestive system.

The product on this website worked incredibly well for me.

Great pic at the website. Yeah, that's what it looks like. If only our medical establishment would realize the significance of the colon and its role in maintaining good health.

Taking a week to clean out the colon beats lying in a hospital bed being pumped with pharmaceuticals and crap food that makes your condition even worse.

Often people die of conditions that are rooted in colon, but are blamed on something else.

The human body has amazing healing powers if it is given half a chance.
