Some people and even some banks commit criminal acts. Some get caught and prosecuted. When the feds go after major drug cartels and dealer networks, they often try to trace and seize their bank accounts. Seems like the trail on one drug investigation led to your bank, and they got busted.
There is no big mystery in that.
On the freeways here in California it's dangerous to drive the speed limit. And, as Jayson pointed out, agriculture relies on Mexican labor that is not in the country legally. Then we have Ruppert of fromthewilderness and others saying that laundering drug money is commonplace for major banks. So what else is going on? Banks are gaming the credit reporting system by reporting discharged debt to credit agencies after bankruptcies. Gambling has become mainstream all across the country. Financial prudence has evaporated and now the whole system is corrupt. It's not you or me that are the doofuses, though some might argue that, it's the whole freaking world. The situation is downright Biblical.
