For those people who still have enough confidence in the US democratic system to vote in the presidential election, who is your pick and why?

I've never voted before, never registered, and as long as there continues to be shit on the ballot I never will either.

The only person I would even consider voting for is Ron Paul. Although I don't agree with every one of his issues, overall he is the best and most progressive choice...which means he has no chance in hell of getting elected.

I guess the other way I would vote is if Obama bin Laden got on the ballot. That there would be enough for me to vote for anyone else running against him.

My guess is that it will be Hilary vs. Rudy--both worthless and very similar on positions. My guess is that it will be Rudy winning the presidency, thus taking us to our demise.

I never understand why everyone assumes that that voting for someone who has experience being a BS artist and a criminal is in anyway good for our country.

At the end of the day, I want someone who has no experience in politics, but who has all of the experience of being a good and honest person who held down a real life 9-5 job. This country should be run by average joes who only concern is their fellow citizen.

I'm pretty indifferent to the rest of the candidates except for Hillary (been there done that) and Giulianni (whats the point?).

I have a great deal of respect for McCain and his heroic survival of torture while a POW in the Hanoi Hilton, but he doesn't seem to have a chance of winning....the polling shows he's not in the top tier of candidates.

My pick would be Joe Biden but he doesn't have a chance.I will not vote republican no way no how.Republicans tend to be more tied to corporate America than Democrats.I think Hillary is a much stronger person than most people think and i'll vote for her if she is the nominee.There's nowhere to go but up after "W".
