Today is Veterans Day...Differences aside a shout out to AP...JB and all other vets is in order.
I served with pride in the USMC...today I am sickened by the hijacking of Amerika and the rest of the world by the global elites.

Thanks for your service Roc.

And thanks to all who do and have served.

I'll add my thanks to all the other vets who participate in these threads. I deeply appreciate the sacrifice you and many before all of us have made.

roccman,

Honestly, how can I construe that thanks in any way one would consider genuine when you have thrashed me as a traitor in just about every other thread in here. You are either a man of your word....or not.

Which one is it? I'd expect a total retraction of all your character attacks on me to date publicly otherwise your "shout out" to me is hollow and meaningless.

I have said before that I have honored your service to this country and you are entitled to your opinion no matter how much we may disagree.

Dang. For some of this crap (the thread subject) people once had feelings. And I thought this place was gonna make me feel more optimistic…

Pops,

Some folks have honor, and some don't. Just proving a point.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Pops', 'A')nd I thought this place was gonna make me feel more optimistic…

Look how well humanity gets along. We're all relatively well fed and prosperous...we have our computers, our easy chairs...and yet conflict simmers.

Just think what it will be like when shortages occur. I trust I've helped extirpate any optimism you might have succumbed to?

Well done to all who have served and those who continue to serve in any branch of any volunteer military. It is a vocation.

Just finished Part 7 of Ken Burns 15 hour film "The War". The vets and civilians who represented in the film were amazing individuals, given their experiences. Well done, with hours of heart-wrenching actual war footage to really bring it home.
I really had no good idea...
