This morning when I passed by my gas price barometer on Main Street unleaded was $2.65, which it has been for about 3 weeks. This afternoon, as oil climbed back into the $83-$84 range and after soaring from $68 over the past several weeks, unleaded dropped to $2.59.

I just DO NOT get it! How in the hell has the price of a barrel skyrocketed and gas is still going down?!?

Goddamn it! I want my chaos and zombie hoardes!!!

83.86 yet gas is is around 2.50 here. I use to figure that gas was tied to oil prices, but apparently this is not so.

Anyone remember the price of crude, when gas was around 3.40
