The Move on Thread

Unread postby jasonraymondson » Tue 09 Oct 2007, 01:40:40

For those of on here who are tired of the people on here who belong on http://www.tightrope.cc

Guess what people even if the numbers aren't perfect, the holocaust still happened. There is no possible way for it to have been a hoax

Yes, If you believe the holocaust was not real then you are a racist pile of crap. End of story.

But like slavery, this whole shit just keeps going on an on.

Everyone needs to shut up and both sides need to just move the fuck on.

I am sick of hearing about slavery, the holocaust, 9/11, ... and the millions of other tons of crap that doesn't make a fucking difference anymore. MOVE ON It's over, it happened... now lets MOVE ON and hope that we can take the lessons we have learned and apply them to a future of global and spirtual harmony.

Yes, it does. We're proving it every day. We're an evolutionary dead end. We're a glorified virus. We'll get what we deserve.

(Fine post, BTW. That web site is about as ugly as they get, isn't it?)

What makes you think THAT will ever happen? Do you realize how hopelessly naive that is?

No harm in hoping, it's good to dream and strive towards that dream, as long as you're in touch with the current reality and act accordingly. Giving up on one's dreams and settling for 2nd best (power instead of love, temporary comfort/pseudo-security instead of a sustainable lifestyle, fame instead of adventure, etc. etc.) is the ruin of the world.

Who gives a fuck whether your dreams are "realistic" in size & scope. You go for the fuckers anyway and if you bring even a taste of timeless harmony to one person in one moment you're better off than all those who quit on their dreams.

Course it all starts at "home". Jaysonraymondson & all the rest of us need to look at ourselves first. No one is going to listen to a pissed off mofo discussing "global and spiritual harmony". Like Gandhi said, "be the change". A thread talking about moving on (but focused on the past, i.e. : what other people said yesterday) is unlikely to garner many converts. But then again, we'll all fucking hypocrites in the end, so rather than wait for a perfect savior lets listen to each other and learn from each other no matter how fuckheaded our fellows were to us just five minutes ago. Move on. Good messege. :)

The real question is, where is "on"? That's up to each individual to answer. Make sure it's really your answer though. Don't be chasing other people's "on's" or "on's" for sale on TV. Find your own true on & get on with it. If your on doesn't turn out to be dead on than don't beat on yourself, find a new on, a more true on and, for cris' sake go chase it 'stead of listing to me ramble on.

But don't think it'll bring you peace, peace is on the way or not at all. Cause it's all on the way if you think about it.

Peace, love & Image to my... pals. :)

You know, this is an extraordinarily immense and complex world we live in.

Every "mofo" is walking around with a more or less laughably imperfect model of it in his/her skull. It is the challenge of any interested person to strive to understand our complex world to the best extent possible given that we are all basically mental midgets compared to task of comprehending all things in nature and all things pertaining to human existence.

Everyone has different opinions and views on different subjects. People walk around with different models, different values.

Right from the get-go, Jayson, for example, believes that human beings are capable of living in "global peace and spiritual harmony" for long periods of time. I don't think this assumption is reflective of human nature at all in any way! It's a completely flawed model according to my own model of humanity's behavior and history.
